Senior Health Fair Day and Senior Contests scheduled by ASCOG

The Association of South Central Oklahoma Governments (ASCOG) will host a Senior Health Fair Day on May 13, 2014, at the Stephens County Fair Grounds.  Individuals 60 or older who live in Caddo, Comanche, Cotton, Grady, Jefferson, McClain, Stephens and Tillman counties are eligible to compete in six contests featured during the event. There will be a Spelling Bee Contest, a Photography Contest, an Art Contest, and Quilting & Crafts contest.  Top three winners in each event will receive prizes.

     There will blood pressure checks, blood sugar checks, and other wellness checks.  There will be door prizes throughout the day, Bingo, live entertainment, lunch provided by ASCOG, and much, much more.  This year, people who would like to set up a booth to sell arts, crafts, or other products will be permitted with a $35 booth registration fee.  Healthcare organizations are also invited to have booth and provide free health screenings.
