Good morning!  It's Friday.

On this date in 1989, demolition began on the Berlin Wall as East Germans were allowed to cross over into West Germany, marking the beginning of the end of the Cold War.

 
 
OKDHS is set to help low income households with heating costs.
 
Sunday is Veterans Day. Veterans Day ceremonies are slated for area communities as the Marine Corps turns 237.  The VA is encouraging veterans to access benefits available to them.  ASCOG offices will be closed on Monday, November 12 for the Veterans Day holiday.
