Holiday Present Idea: Become an Ombudsman Volunteer!
The holiday season is here; what is a good present to give?
You can become an advocate for persons in long-term care facilities (Ombudsman
Volunteer). This is something the facility residents and you will cherish for a
long time. ASCOG (Association of South Central Oklahoma Governments) will hold
two training sessions for potential Ombudsman Volunteers on November 27 - 28 at
the Red River Technology Center in Duncan and November 29 - 30at the
Pioneer Library in Blanchard from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. The training is free.
We serve older adults in Caddo, Comanche, Cotton, Grady, Jefferson, McClain, Stephens and Tillman counties in Oklahoma.For more information contact our Senior Info Line at 1.800.211.2116.
